In case of a dental emergency, please call immediately!

Chairside greetings from Dr Sarah Read

I would like to touch base with my patients and update you all since returning from maternity leave.

I am now the Mother of two children, Kate and Isobel. Kate is two years of age and Isobel is ten months old.

The new addition to our family has been a wonderful, fun and busy experience and I am fortunate to have the support to balance my family and work life nicely, allowing me time to care for my patients from Monday to  Friday.

Since the birth of my second child, I definitely have empathy towards the parents I see bringing their young children to our clinic. Having children requires a lot of patience and can become tiring, so I understand the need to provide a comfortable environment where my patients can feel calm and relaxed during their dental treatment.

Self-care is very important for new parents, so be sure to take the time to keep on top of your oral health and general well-being.  The experience of my pregnancies has confirmed my need to educate my patients about what they may experience during gestation and how practicing good oral hygiene will benefit both Mother and child.

I look forward to the ongoing care of my existing patients and for those who may also be new to Motherhood, I look forward to meeting you and your children and guiding them in the right direction with their oral health.

Our friendly receptionists are keen to book your future appointments and I am very excited to reunite with my existing patients and welcome new faces to our clinic.
